How do I test it?
The best way to test it is to use an accessory within the extended range of the Booster and see if it is able to communicate with the tattletale.

Does the Signal Booster increase the range or strength of the signal, and by how much?
The Booster increases the range of the tattletale, by intercepting the signal and then passing it along with an increase in strength.
The Booster can add up to an additional 2000' of range between the tattletale and an accessory.
If more than one signal is being sent, does it diminish the strength of the signal?
The Booster takes the signal that is received, amplifies it, and sends it back out. The signal strength is not diminished.

Do I need to program the Booster?
No. However, this is an option if you have an ES system and would like to supervise the Booster.
How does the Booster get power?
The Booster is powered by AC power. It also has a 10 hour battery backup.
Is the Booster weatherproof?
Yes, however, the transformer power plug is not.
How many Boosters can be used with the tattletale?
There is no limit to the number of Boosters you can use with your tattletale.
How many sensors can I use with my Booster?
Since all the Booster is doing is picking up a signal and then passing it along, it would pick up as many sensors in its surrounding area.
What happens if my power gets cut?
The unit will still work if the power gets cut. It will work off of the internal battery, which has approximately a 10 hour charge.
