High/Low Temperature Sensor

How do I test it?

First, place the unit on test with a tattletale operator. 

 

For the High Temperature Sensor, remove the cover to test the transmission and use a hair dryer on it.

 

For the Low Temperature Sensor, put the sensor in the freezer.

What temperature does the Temperature Sensor trip at?

The High Temperature Sensor will trip at 135 degree and the Low Temperature Sensor will trip at 43 degrees.

Why does my sensor stay tripped when it's not being used?

The spring or cover may be loose. Also, the reset button may not have been pushed.

How do I set the temperature on the sensor?

The temperature is pre-set and cannot be adjusted.

How do I reset the alarm after an event?

When the temperature goes back to normal, the sensor will clear itself.

Can it send an alarm when the system is unarmed?

Yes, if you have the sensor programmed to a 24 Hour Zone it can send an alarm even when unarmed.
